Apple Rolled Out A New Shopping Category In The App Store

The App Store now gets a new “Shopping” category.

Apple is introducing a new category in the App Store that is designed for shopping apps specifically. This new section will make shopping from iPhone much simpler, because it will allow users to locate mobile shopping apps with ease.

The shopping apps that will be listed in the new category were the part of the “Lifestyle” section, which included many other apps, such as dating apps, home improvement apps, wedding apps, and more.

According to TechCrunch, this new “Shopping” section will be available to the iOS users worldwide, and it will include apps that offer not only shopping, but also auctions, price comparisons, product reviews, and more.

The Shopping category includes Amazon app, Amazon Prime Now, eBay, Etsy, Target, Macy’s, GUCCI STYLE, Victoria’s Secret for iPhone, AliExpress Shopping app, H&M, ZARA for iPhone, Disney Store, and many more. Many of the apps listed in the new section support Apple Pay.

There are also a few collections of shopping apps, such as “Save While You Shop”, a section that offers discounts and special deals for customers, “Shop For Everything” that includes subcategories such as “Groceries”, “Play Dates”, “Chic”, and more.
