Chrome Browser For PC Will Adopt Material Design

ChromeOS and Chrome browser for PC will fully adopt the material design of Android for its UI element. This report comes from The Next Web that they found on a Google code discussion, which said that the UI material design on the top of ChromeOS version 50 can be activated. They found the hidden settings and some flags to make a chrome browser for PC has a material design appearance.

The difference is not significant at this moment and still looks like the initial implementation. In some parts of UI elements, we can see everything in square shapes turn into circles, including the menu button. It is changed from hamburger to become three dots in one vertical line, as we can see in the current Android.

The info bar, security icon and the bookmark button also have the different shapes. The Incognito mode now has a design with the black theme.

According to the information, this material design will be fully adopted on ChromeOS and Chrome for PC, in late 2016, while for the Mac version, there is no any information yet.
