How to Enable Snapchat Dark Mode

Snapchat Dark mode is a great feature that has been around for some time on iOS and Android devices. You can enable or disable this mode for the entire system, but the apps also have the option to allow you to turn the dark mode on and off as you like. In other words, even if you are using a light mode across the system, you may enable the dark one for a specific app if it allows it.

When it comes to Snapchat, we may say it is a bit late with this mode compared to other apps, but the option is finally here, and we will show you the steps to turn it on. Without further ado, let’s see how to enable Snapchat Dark mode.

Steps to Enable Snapchat Dark Mode

Before we move on to the steps, ensure you have the latest version of Snapchat on your device. If you do, follow the steps below:

  • Open Snapchat on your smartphone
  • Click on your profile photo
  • Now tap on the “Settings.”
  • Scroll down and select App Appearance
  • There will be three options to choose from, and those are Always Light, Always Dark, and Match the System
  • Tap on the option you want

If you have selected the option “Match the System,” Snapchat will match the mode you have selected for the phone’s system. If you have selected light mode, Snapchat will be in the same mode, and if you have selected dark, the app will be in the same mode.
