How to Hide Online Status and Seen Status on Viber
Perhaps you don’t want all of your contacts to see your online status, and maybe you would like to hide your seen status as well. You can change that in seconds, and we will show you how. The steps are as follows:
- Open the Viber app on your Android or iOS device
- Next, tap More and then tap Settings
- Once you enter Settings, tap Privacy
At the top of the Privacy page, you will see options Share “online” status and Share “seen” status. Just tap on each, and they will turn off.
It is important to mention that you can’t change the Share “online” status option more than once every 24 hours. So, if you change your mind and want to turn it back on, you will have to wait for a day before you can do that. Viber will notify you when you can make changes again.
