How to highlight in Pages

Adding highlighted effects to Pages requires a few clicks and moments of your time. Everything is pretty simple. Follow the steps below:

  • Launch Pages
  • Open the document in which you want to add highlighted effects
  • Select a word, sentence, or paragraph using your cursor
  • Click on “Insert” at the top of the screen
  • When the drop-down menu shows up, click on Highlight

This action will highlight the text you want, and the color behind your text will be yellow.

When you add the first highlight, adding more will be even simpler because you will have a highlight bar that you can use.

If you change your mind and want to remove the highlights, click on it, and in the pop-up that will show up, click Delete.
