When your Apple Watch is ringing, you will see there is an incoming call and you will have the option to pick up and answer the call by pressing on the green button, or you can press on the red one to reject the call. But, there are some “hidden” options. If you want to answer a call on your iPhone and not your Apple Watch, you need to use the Digital crown on the watch to scroll down and you will see the option “Answer on iPhone”.

Tap on that option and the caller will be placed on hold until you answer on your iPhone. Simple right?

If you are wondering is it possible to transfer a call from the watch to the phone if you already answered using your watch, the answer is Yes, and here is how:

  • If your iPhone is unlocked – if this is the case, just tap on the green bar “Touch to return call” located at the top of the iPhone’s screen
  • If your iPhone is locked – just tap on the Phone icon located at the bottom-left corner of the iPhone’s screen.

As you can see, you can transfer the calls from your Apple Watch to your iPhone with ease!
