How to watch CuriosityStream content offline

One great thing about the CuriosityStream platform is that it offers offline content streaming for its users. This kind of feature is really useful, and it really comes in handy if you are maybe traveling and want to watch your favorite shows on your device, or if you want to save your mobile data. This offline content viewing feature is available for both Android and IOS phone users. So, you can stream your content in the CuriosityStream app offline anywhere! And, in this article, we are going to be showing you how to do that. Do not worry, this process is very easy and you will be done in just a few minutes.

Steps to watching and streaming CuriosityStream’s content offline

Before you start doing these steps, you have to make sure that you are using the latest version of the CuriosityStream application. To check that, head over to the Google Play Store or to the App Store and see if there is a new update available. If there is a new update available, download it right away so that you can start doing these steps without any interruptions.

Okay, so, the first thing that you will have to do is to open up the CuriosityStream application on your device. Of course, you have to be logged into your CuriosityStream account in order to continue, if you are not logged in automatically, now is the right time to do so.

After the application loads, you will have to search and open up a show that you want to watch when you are offline. When you have found that TV show, you should be able to see that some buttons and options are displayed right under its name. Find the Save button that has the down-facing arrow for its logo and click on it. Of course, you first have to select the episode which you want to save for offline viewing. So, select an episode and click on that Save button.

In order to start streaming the content that you have saved, you will have to open up the My Stuff folder on your account. You will find the episodes that you are looking for in the Saved category there. Have in mind that you are able to save 10 hours of content, and you are able to stream that anytime and anywhere you want to.

Steps to removing a TV show from your CuriosityStream offline watchlist

And, if you have watched all of the episodes that you have downloaded for offline viewing, and you want to remove them from your saved list so that you can add new ones, here is how to do that:

Of course, you have to open up the CuriosityStream application and be logged in to your account in order to continue.

Okay, so, you have to go to the My Stuff folder again, and to the Saved section too. When the list of episodes that you have already saved to your offline watchlist shows up, you will have to find the specific episode which you want to remove from that exact list.  After you have spotted that episode if you are an iPhone user, you can just swipe left and remove that episode from your watchlist right away. But, if you are an Android user, you will have to uncheck that episode by clicking on the checkmark that should be located right under that episode’s name. If the episode is not checked anymore, it means that you have removed it, simply refresh that page after that and go ahead and add more content.
