Let it charge
Start with the basics. Let the phone charge, and observe how it behaves during charging. If it works fine but misbehaves as soon as you disconnect it from the charger, it could indicate a battery-related problem.
Forced reboot
A forced reboot can fix many issues and help you eliminate minor bugs causing problems. That’s why you should give it a shot. Here is what to do.
- Press and hold the power button and the volume down key simultaneously.
- Hold the buttons for a few seconds until the Samsung logo shows up
- Release the buttons.
Update the Software
Updating the software could fix the problem. A new version may introduce new features and security patches, but it can also arrive with bug fixes. Here is what to do:
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to and select Software update
- Tap Download and install
Boot the phone into Safe mode
One of the third-party apps could be causing the problem. The only way to ensure this is the case is to boot your phone into safe mode. When you do that, all third-party apps will be disabled. You can use the phone and see how it works. If there are no issues, one of the apps is the problem. You can either remove the apps one by one or perform a factory data reset that will erase everything, including the apps.
- Press and hold the power off button

Factory data reset

When you create the backup, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to Settings
- Tap General Management
- Next, tap Reset
- Tap Factory Data Reset
- Tap Reset
- You’ll have to wait for the process to complete
