Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini Will Be Launched To Challenge iPhone SE

A new rumor said Samsung will release Galaxy S7 mini to challenge the upcoming iPhone SE. Unlike the Galaxy S5 mini, which has a mid-range specification, S7 mini will have a high-end spec. This thing can attract a Galaxy S fans because it will be more compact and affordable. The device will have a 4.6-inch screen size with 720p of resolution, the Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 chipset, 3GB of RAM, a 12MP main camera, and 9.9 mm thickness. When it comes to memory, S7 mini will be equipped with 3GB of RAM, while Galaxy S7 has 4GB memory. Besides, there is an interesting accessory: a “periscope lens” with 3x optical zoom, but it seems it will be sold separately.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini Will Be Launched And Compete With iPhone SE

Even though this rumor has not been confirmed yet, it is possible for Samsung to do it. They didn’t release Galaxy S mini-series last year for the unknown reason. So, to release it this year makes sense because their biggest rival will release iPhone 4-inch. According to the rumor, the upcoming iPhone 4-inch (iPhone SE) will have the similar specification as iPhone 6S, but with the affordable price. iPhone SE will be introduced in Apple press event on March 21. Samsung has to release Galaxy S7 mini soon to compete with iPhone SE.
