How to turn off geotagging on iOS devices

To disable geotagging on your iPhone or iPad, follow these steps:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Click on Privacy
  • Click on Location Services
  • Tap Camera
  • Under “Allow location access,” choose Never.

Once you change this, the location of the videos and photos won’t be recorded.

It is advisable to go through all the other apps in Location Services and disable this option for the apps you don’t want to access your location. If your kids have an iPhone or iPad, it would be a good idea to do the same on their devices.

These days, you have to make some efforts to protect your privacy, and turning off geotagging is an excellent place to start.
