Many of you must be happy with the Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 and have no plan to upgrade to Windows 10, but there is a bad news for you. Microsoft could force you to switch to Windows 10 as the same thing is happening with many people making it harder for them to opt-out or cancel the upgrading.
Many Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users have been complaining that Windows 10 has started to install on their PC automatically. According to the complaints by the users and the reports that taking round, Windows Update screen is only offering them the option to either Start the upgrading process or reschedule it for a later date.

For other users, the dialog boxes are displaying a message saying, “Upgrade to Windows 10 is ready” and prompting them “Restart your PC to start the installation.”
The issue is actually happening because of the Windows Update process. The Windows 10 is listed as an “Optional” update by Microsoft, and these updates are unticked. That means, it should not be installed automatically; you have to check them manually in order to install the Windows 10 OS.
However, these updates were mistakenly checked by Microsoft at the time of listing them and in result, it’s getting installed on some computers or Laptops running Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. Now Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and unchecked the checkbox.
